Phoenix Roadside Station is located in the Nichinan Coast National Park in the southern part of Miyazaki City, and offers a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. The blue sky, ocean, and tropical rows of Phoenix trees attract many tourists. In particular, the observation deck, where you can see the wavy rocks called Oni no Sentakuita (Devil's Sentakuita) below, is a popular spot at this roadside station.

Beautiful flowers bloom throughout the year at this station, with about 20 Phoenix trees, Jacaranda trees, and Bougainvillea trees giving it a tropical feel.

The greatest attraction of this roadside station is that you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the bounty of Miyazaki at the same time. At the restaurant, you can enjoy gourmet food unique to this area, such as seafood bowls made with fresh local seafood and Miyazaki specialty chicken nanban.
