Musashino National Government Park is Japan's first national park, spanning Namekawa Town, Hiki District, Saitama Prefecture and Kumagaya City. It boasts an overwhelming size of about 65 Tokyo Domes, and as its name suggests, it is loved by many people as a park that makes use of the rich natural forests of Musashino. The park is dotted with gardens, plazas, and sports facilities with various themes, making it a true treasure trove of nature that will help you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. You can enjoy beautiful scenery throughout the year in every season, and the autumn leaves are particularly spectacular.

The biggest attraction of this park is its vast grounds and diverse activities. There is a cycling course that stretches over a total length of 17 km, and it is recommended to rent a bicycle and tour the spacious park. There are also plenty of facilities that are great for families, such as the Musashi Kids Dome, which has a large playground and athletic equipment for children to enjoy, and the water play area, which is popular in the summer. In addition, the Urban Green Botanical Garden allows you to observe a variety of plants, making it an ideal place for nature study.

There is also a barbecue (BBQ) facility with all the equipment provided, so you can easily enjoy the outdoors. There are plans that include ingredients and plans where you can bring your own.

Musashino National Government Park is not just a place to stroll, but also has a wide variety of events and experience programs. You can refresh your body and mind in nature by walking while taking in the forest, bird watching, or attending seasonal flower festivals. It is a healing spot that Saitama is proud of, where you can spend your time however you like, such as having a picnic on the spacious grassy area or reading a book.
