Shinmei Shrine in Toba City, Mie Prefecture, is known for its deity, Ishigami, a deity long worshipped by female divers who are said to grant one wish to women. Ishigami's official name is Ishijinja, located within the grounds of Shinmei Shrine. Ishigami enshrines Tamayorihime-no-Mikoto, and has long been a deity prayed for by female divers for safety and bountiful catches. This belief has spread, and today many women from all over the country visit Ishigami, believing that she will grant one wish.

The proper way to visit Ishigami is to write your wish on paper and place it in the wishing box inside the shrine. Wish papers are distributed free of charge at the shrine office. Many people return to give thanks when their wish is granted. Additionally, amulets embroidered with the "Doman Seman" talisman, a protective symbol handmade by female divers, are also popular as Ishigami's talismans. These amulets are available for purchase exclusively by women and are believed to grant wishes.

There is also a sacred tree within the grounds that is said to be 300 years old.
