National Treasure Jodoji Temple (Ono City)

Founded in the 1190s, this historic temple is located in Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Jodo-ji Temple was founded in 1194 during the Kamakura period by Chogen, a monk who lived from the end of the Heian period to the Kamakura period.

The Jodo-do Hall and the Mida Triad statue have been designated as national treasures. There are many other important cultural properties.
