Established in 1927, this is a long-established Japanese confectionery shop in Nagoya that is popular for its chrysanthemum monaka and oni manju.

Fukuen's signature product is ``Fukumonaka'', which is a sandwich of Dainagon bean paste and gyuhi. Dainagon-an is made by carefully cooking Hokkaido-produced azuki beans with Hokkaido-produced sugar and water. Gyuhi is made by carefully kneading glutinous rice and sugar.

Fuku Monaka has an exquisite balance of bean paste and gyuhi, and you can enjoy its elegant sweetness. The crispy skin is also delicious and full of flavor.
