Taneya Himurenoya, located near Hachimanbori in Omihachiman City, Shiga Prefecture, is a representative store of the Japanese confectionery shop Taneya. While a wide variety of Taneya's sweets can be purchased here, a particularly popular item is the "Tsuburamochi," which can be enjoyed freshly baked at the attached teahouse. Tsuburamchi is a bite-sized, imagawayaki-like treat with a chewy dough filled with bean paste. It's baked fresh on-site, so it's always piping hot.

In addition to Tsuburamchi, the teahouse offers a variety of other menu items, including seasonal Japanese sweets, matcha, and sencha.
