The signature product is the famous confectionery "Umoregi," named after "Umoreginoya," where Hikone feudal lord Ii Naosuke spent his youth. It is characterized by its elegant taste, with white bean paste wrapped in soft gyuhi and sprinkled with matcha and wasanbon sugar.
In addition to fresh sweets, the main store also sells a variety of baked goods. It is a fun time to choose Hikone-related confections and look for souvenirs in the historic building.
