The Shimotsui Shipping Wholesaler Museum is a restored Kitamae shipping wholesaler that supported logistics in the Seto Inland Sea during the Meiji period. Recreated white-walled storehouses, accounting offices, living rooms, and kitchens, the museum offers a guided tour of the merchant households of the past.

Cantina Tomi, located on the premises, is popular for its fresh Setouchi fish dishes, set meals, and a fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisine.

The facility is located right next to Shimotsui Fishing Port, and a stroll along the "Wind Path" trail leads to the Washuyama Observatory. Another attractive feature is the spectacular views of the Seto Ohashi Bridge and the Bisan Seto Strait along the way.

Approximately 10 free parking spaces are available on the port side. If the parking lot is full, please use the second parking lot, located a short distance away.
