Located on the coast near Tojinbo in Fukui Prefecture, Echizen Matsushima Aquarium not only exhibits approximately 350 species, but also offers the opportunity to see, touch, and learn. It's always bustling with attractions, such as dolphin shows, seal and otter feedings, and penguin walks, all scheduled at different times.

Though it's not a large aquarium, the feeding and touching experiences are popular with young children, making it a recommended aquarium for families with children.

Even more popular are the "Coral Sea" tank, with its transparent floor, where you can look up, and the "Interaction Center" where you can touch sharks and rays. In summer, you can observe marine life from the floor in a saltwater splash pool, making it a popular spot for families with children.

The aquarium also has an observation restaurant and a shop.
