This amusement park in Asakusa has a Showa-era atmosphere. It is the oldest amusement park in Japan and has a historic feel.
This small urban amusement park opened in 1853. While the park has a retro atmosphere, it offers everything from gentle rides that can be enjoyed by children from newborns to thrilling rides, making it the perfect place to enjoy a quick dip in between sightseeing in Asakusa. As one of Japan's oldest amusement parks, it also has a story-like quality to it.

The park's signature feature is the oldest surviving roller coaster, built in 1953. With a top speed of 42km/h, the course whizzes past private living rooms, drawing cheers from the crowds. In the summer, the park offers extended night hours and collaborative events, making for a photogenic experience!
