Senbutsu Cave, located beneath the Hiraodai Karst Plateau, is an "underground art museum" filled with stalactites of all sizes. You can explore up to about 900m, where lighting can reach the cave. Halfway through, you'll experience the unique experience of wading through knee-deep underground water. Rental sandals are available, so it's safe for families with children, as long as you're wearing clothes that don't mind getting wet. There are plenty of photogenic spots, and the round-trip journey takes about 40 minutes for a quick adventure.

The temperature inside the cave remains at about 16°C and the water at about 14°C year-round, making it a "natural cooler" in the summer. Changing rooms and lockers are available near the reception desk, allowing you to adjust your attire and temporarily store your luggage. It's a steep descent from the parking lot to the entrance, so wearing non-slip footwear and planning your energy for the return journey will ensure a comfortable experience.
