Shibukawa Beach is a beautiful beach with white sand and green pines that has been selected as one of the "100 Best Beaches in Japan" and "100 Best Swimming Beaches in Japan." The calm waves and shallow beach make it a representative resort area of Okayama Prefecture, perfect for swimming and marine sports.
Shibukawa Coast is characterized by a white sandy beach stretching for about 1 km and a lush landscape of black pine forests, and is designated as a Setonaikai National Park. The calm scenery of the Seto Inland Sea overlooking the beautiful islands makes it an environment where you can enjoy marine sports such as yachting and windsurfing in any season.

During the summer swimming season (mid-July to late August), lifeguards are on duty from 9:00 to 17:00, and the beach is crowded with many beachgoers, mainly families. During the swimming season, the first water park in Setouchi is also set up, where you can enjoy attractions such as water slides. Various beach sports events such as beach volleyball and beach soccer are also held from time to time.

Even outside the swimming season, you can enjoy a stroll along the well-maintained promenade along the pine forest and feel the sea breeze. Especially at dusk, you can see the silhouette of the Seto Ohashi Bridge in the distance, creating a romantic atmosphere. The surrounding area is dotted with attractions such as the Diamond Setouchi Marine Hotel, glamping facilities, Shibukawa Marine Aquarium, Shibukawa Zoo, and Toy Kingdom, making it a tourist area where you can spend the whole day.
