Hiruzen Cycling Service is a rental base directly connected to the approximately 29km Hiruzen Highland Cycling Road. The gentle elevation change and clear signposts make it an easy-to-follow route, even for first-time riders. Gaze upon the breathtaking pastures and mountain ranges, seasonal flower fields, and pasture scenery, and you'll find photogenic spots one after another. Experience the fresh greenery, highland breezes, and blue skies to your heart's content.

A wide variety of bicycles are available to suit your needs, including electric-assist, cross, city, child-sized, child-seat equipped, and tandem bicycles. Rental helmets, locks, and simple repair kits are available, as well as cycling maps. A "leisurely highland picnic ride" with detours to cafes and farm shops along the way is a classic option. The plateau is prone to sudden changes in weather and strong winds, so you'll need lightweight windproof clothing, drinks, and sunscreen. Even though it's a plateau, it's only 1-3 degrees cooler than the lowlands, so it can be very hot in midsummer. (Depending on the climate, it can also be warmer than the lowlands.)
