This observation deck opened at the top of Senkoji Park in 2022. Its slender, pier-like design stretches approximately 63 meters into the sky, offering a wide-angle view of Onomichi's cityscape and archipelago. Its light-weight structure blends seamlessly into the Onomichi landscape, garnering attention as a photogenic observation deck. It also features an elevator directly connected to the ropeway's summit station, making it accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.

It offers a magnificent panorama of the Onomichi Strait below and the Shikoku Mountains in the distance. In spring, the park's approximately 1,500 cherry trees bloom, and at night, the deck's illuminations, combined with the city lights, create a romantic night view. On Fridays, Saturdays, and the days before holidays, related facilities are illuminated, creating a spectacular sight as the sky changes color at twilight. The observation deck itself is free to enter, and combining it with Senkoji Temple, the Literary Path, and the Onomichi City Museum of Art makes for a highly satisfying visit, even for a short trip.
