Makino Highlands is a highland area rich in nature and easily accessible from the Kansai region. The main attraction is the 2.4km long Metasequoia Tree Line, which offers beautiful scenery throughout the year, with the fresh greenery of spring, the deep greenery of summer, the autumn leaves, and the snowy scenery of winter.
The vast grounds include a campsite, ground golf course, and other facilities, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors. Hiking and climbing the nearby Akasakayama Mountains are also popular, allowing you to enjoy activities in beautiful nature.
The grounds also include Makino Highlands Sarasa Onsen, where you can refresh yourself in the hot springs after activities. The agricultural park Makino Pickland is also nearby, and you can enjoy seasonal fruit picking, making this a highland resort that meets a variety of needs.
