The beach is about a five-minute walk from Megi Port, and the white sand stretches out in an arched shape. Selected as one of the Ministry of the Environment's Top 100 Best Swimming Beaches, the water is relatively clear, the beach is relatively shallow, and the waves are calm, making it a relatively safe place for families with small children.

During the peak season, you can enjoy the bright scenery that lives up to its nickname, the "Aegean Sea of the East." Behind the beach is a cobblestone promenade, and leisurely strolls around the island while feeling the sea breeze are popular.

You'll also see that "Lovers' Point" is known as a sacred place for love.

The prefectural "Megijima (Matsubara) Campground" is located right in front of the beach, and many families enjoy day camping and playing on the rocks in addition to swimming. The campground's showers, kitchen, and restrooms are available, and in the summer, there are also beach huts lined up (showers cost 100 yen and are only available during beach season).
