Mikane Shrine is a shrine located in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City. The main enshrined deity is Kanayama Biko no Mikoto, the guardian deity of metals, and it is said to bring blessings such as financial luck, good luck, and good luck.
Mikane Shrine is believed to have been founded in the late Heian period. Originally, it was enshrined as a private shrine within the grounds of a private residence. However, in 1883, the current main building was constructed, opening the shrine to the public and attracting many worshippers from across the country.

Mikane Shrine's grounds are adorned with a golden décor, including a golden torii gate and golden lion statues. The grounds are also decorated with numerous ginkgo-shaped votive plaques, donated by worshippers praying for financial luck.

The shrine's sacred tree is a large ginkgo tree over 200 years old. It is considered a symbol of prosperity, longevity, and prosperity, and its yellow leaves in autumn make for a photogenic sight.
