Hara Kogen Ski Resort boasts a vast slope with an elevation difference of 570m, and offers nine courses ranging from gentle slopes for beginners to steep slopes for intermediate and advanced skiers. The gentle slopes are particularly suitable for skiing and snowboarding debuts. A total of five lifts are in operation, ensuring plenty of time to ski down the slopes.

The snow is high-quality powder snow, and on clear days, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the distant mountains. In the kids' park, you can sled and play in the snow, and it is also a nice point that elementary school students and younger can use it for free. Although it does not operate at night, it is popular with families and beginners who want to enjoy the clear snow scenery during the day.

There is a wide range of rental equipment, so you can start skiing immediately even if you come empty-handed. There is a rest house called "Crystal Palace" on the slope side, where you can warm up your body with hot meals and snacks. It is about 40 minutes from Ochiai IC on the Chugoku Expressway, and there is a free parking lot with about 1,700 spaces, so you can easily visit even on a day trip.
