From inside the shop, you can enjoy the view of the Seta River through the large windows, and you can leisurely enjoy sweets while feeling the nature of the four seasons. It is the perfect space to take a break when visiting Ishiyama-dera Temple or walking around the area.
Many of the carefully made homemade Japanese sweets are originals that express the seasons of Ishiyama-dera Temple and Omi, and one of the most famous is "Tabashiru", named after a haiku by Matsuo Basho. You can enjoy authentic sweets that you can only find at a Japanese sweets shop, such as matcha, zenzai, and seasonal shaved ice.
