Ushimado Yacht Harbor opened in 1987 and is one of the leading marinas in Western Japan, with 63 floating piers and 293 dinghy berths on its vast premises, capable of accommodating approximately 460 yachts and cruisers. The calm waves of the Seto Inland Sea and the warm climate are ideal for sailing, attracting yachtsmen from Japan and abroad. At dusk, the yachts are backed by a group of yachts, and the sea and sky turn a deep red, making it a popular photo spot.

Yachting classes and cruising experiences for beginners are always held in the marina, and experienced instructors will provide careful instruction. There is also a visitor space, so even if you don't own a boat, you can visit and enjoy sailing, and we also accept reservations for marine activities such as canoeing and SUP. Many people come to stroll around the harbor without mooring their boat, or to have lunch empty-handed.

"Kissaten in the Port" on the second floor is a home-roasted coffee specialty store affiliated with Kinoshita Shoten, and is open from 11:00 to 16:00. The terrace overlooks the Seto Inland Sea and serves coffee, light meals, and lunch menus that make use of local ingredients, such as the "Port Oyster Bowl" made with Ushimado oysters. Even if you're not a yacht user, you can drop in casually, making it an ideal place to rest during a drive or sightseeing.
