Torupa is a sunset-viewing terrace located on the lakeshore of National Route 9. Its benches and walkways offer a prime opportunity to capture the sunlight streaming across the lake and the silhouette of Yomegashima Island directly in front of you. Parking is available across the road, and an underground passage provides a safe approach to the lakeside. The underground passage features explanations of sunset views and seasonal photo exhibits, making it easy for first-time visitors to find the best spot. The Sodeshi Jizo statue stands on the lakeshore, creating a unique sunset "prayer" composition. The clear air from autumn to winter accentuates the vibrant gradation of colors, from orange to navy blue.
