It is a roadside station where you can see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge up close at the tip of the protruding peninsula.

If you walk along the promenade, you can also see the whirlpools depending on the time.

It is famous for its hamburgers that won 1st and 2nd place at the National Local Hamburger Grandple.
