Murasuzume, a famous confectionery representing Kurashiki, is a Japanese sweet made of moist castella cake wrapped around sweet bean paste with a refined sweetness.

Murasuzume is inspired by sparrows flocking around ears of rice, symbolizing the bountiful harvest of Kurashiki. It makes a great souvenir, and is also recommended to enjoy with some matcha tea during a break while sightseeing in Kurashiki. Its simple yet deep flavor is enjoyed by a wide range of people, from children to the elderly.

The bean paste is wrapped in soft dough.
It is characterized by the small holes in the dough.
It is a classic, old-fashioned flavor that is loved by everyone.

By the way, the main store is on the first floor of a building about 150m away from Kurashiki Station.
