Yonago Castle is a castle built on Mount Minatoyama, 90 meters above sea level in Yonago City.
Although only the stone walls remain today, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Yonago city, the Sea of Japan, and Mount Daisen in almost 360 degrees.
Yonago Castle is a castle built on Mount Minatoyama, 90 meters above sea level in Yonago City. Today, only the stone walls remain, but visitors can enjoy a nearly 360-degree panoramic view of the city of Yonago, the Sea of Japan, and Mt. Daisen.

Although it is not listed as one of Japan's Top 100 Castles, it is worth a visit for the breathtaking views from the stone walls. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk up the stairs and mountain trail to reach the stone walls. The path is somewhat paved, but it is recommended to wear athletic shoes instead of leather shoes.

The parking lot is located at Minatoyama Park on the other side of the mountain. The parking lot is closed at night.
