Kagekiyo Cave is a limestone cave in Akiyoshidai Quasi-National Park in Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is said that Kagekiyo, a warrior of the Taira clan who lost the Genpei War, hid here. The main feature of this limestone cave is that in addition to the regular tourist course, there is also an exploration course. On the exploration course, you can wear boots and headlights and go through the water to experience full-scale caving, which is popular with tourists looking for a more adventurous experience. Even on the regular course, you can enjoy the fantastic scenery created by stalactites and stalagmites. Inside the cave, it feels cool in summer and warm in winter.

The tourist course is 700m. The exploration course is another 400m.
The exploration course takes about an hour round trip.

At the auto campsite adjacent to Kagekiyo Cave, you can enjoy camping and barbecues in an environment surrounded by rich nature. There are divided sites and free sites, and some sites have electricity and water, so it is suitable for a wide range of people from beginners to veteran campers. Showers, toilets and other facilities are also provided to ensure a comfortable stay. Some camping equipment is also available for rental, so you can start your outdoor experience empty-handed.
