The Straits Dream Tower is a landmark tower that stands in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, with a height of 153 meters and an observation deck at 143 meters. From this observation deck, you can enjoy a magnificent 360-degree panoramic view of ships passing through the Kanmon Strait, the buildings of the Mojiko Retro District in Fukuoka Prefecture on the opposite bank, Shimonoseki city, and the distant Hibiki-nada Sea. During the day, a wide view spreads out, and on clear days, you can even see the mountains of Kyushu in the distance.

The view from dusk to night is particularly spectacular. The night view, which combines the lights of ships passing through the Kanmon Strait, the illuminations of the Mojiko Retro District on the opposite bank, and the lights of Shimonoseki city, is so beautiful that it has been certified as a "Japanese Night View Heritage" and a "Sacred Place for Lovers." The observation deck also has benches for couples and a cafe space where you can enjoy the night view at your leisure.
