Rakan Valley is dotted with a variety of strangely shaped rocks, including steep cliffs, oddly shaped rocks, and caves, and is home to a series of waterfalls, including Otaki and Nakayamataki.

You can also enjoy activities such as hiking, camping, and playing in the river.

Head north from Aioi city on Prefectural Route 44 and turn left at the "Rakan no Sato" sign.

Nearby is the Uryu Rakan Stone Buddha, enshrined in a large cavern.
