Miya Onsen is a historical hot spring that is said to have been discovered by the monk Gyoki about 1,200 years ago. During the Edo period, it was loved by many military commanders and writers and artists such as Tokugawa Ieyasu and Mitsukuni.
Miya Onsen is located in the Mikawawan Quasi-National Park, and its scenic location overlooking the sea is also attractive. In addition, there are many sightseeing spots such as Laguna Ten Bosch and Takeshima in the surrounding area, so it is also recommended for sightseeing.
The recommended way to enjoy Miya Onsen is to fully enjoy the hot springs. From the open-air bath, you can relax and enjoy the hot spring while gazing at the magnificent view of Mikawa Bay.
