In the shrine grounds, there is a sacred tree called "Meotokusu" that is over several hundred years old, and it is known as a power spot for matchmaking. It is said that touching this tree will bless you with a good relationship, and many worshippers pray here. In addition, deep within the shrine grounds, there is a rich forest called Ikuta no Mori, which is a healing space that helps you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. In recent years, it has also been gaining attention as a spot that looks good on social media, and is popular as a place where you can take beautiful photos.
This shrine has been rebuilt after many disasters, including the Great Kobe Flood, the Great Kobe Air Raid, and the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. It is one of Kobe's most powerful spots, and many celebrities visit here.
