Ama-no-Manai is the famous water of Mt. Daisen that represents the San'in area and has been selected as one of Japan's 100 famous waters.

Amano Manai boasts a water temperature of 14°C and a daily flow rate of 2,500 tons. The water quality is characterized by low hardness, good mineral balance, and mellow taste.

Ama-no-Manai has long been used by local people for their daily lives, for agricultural purposes, and for farming rainbow trout. In addition, the water from Amano Manai is used as a water source for waterworks in many municipalities in Tottori Prefecture.

Ama-no-Manai is also popular as a tourist spot, with a watermill, pavilion, and promenade.
