Osaka Science Museum is an experiential museum where you can learn about the mysteries of space and science while having fun. It has a large planetarium and a wide range of tactile exhibits, making it a popular spot that stimulates the curiosity of children and adults alike.
Osaka Science Museum is a unique facility located in the center of Nakanoshima that allows you to deepen your interest in science. Opened in 1989, it covers a wide range of themes, including space, energy, and everyday science. The museum has many interactive exhibits that you can actually touch and move, allowing you to learn about scientific principles and phenomena in a fun way. For example, you can observe a ball rolling down a complex course or experience experiments with electricity and light, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of science by using all your five senses.

The biggest attraction of the science museum is the planetarium, where a dome screen displays images of the starry sky and the universe. It uses a "hybrid planetarium" that combines the latest optical projector and digital projector, and the immersive images and commentary make you feel as if you are traveling in space. The live commentary by expert commentators is also popular, and they explain the seasonal starry sky and the latest topics in space science in an easy-to-understand manner.

In addition, workshops for children and experiment classes are held regularly, providing opportunities for children to experience the fun of science in a practical way. As it is an indoor facility that can be enjoyed even on rainy days, you can spend meaningful time with your family regardless of the weather.
