Tsuzumimon is a gate designed in the image of Noh, a traditional performing art that is a symbol of Kanazawa Station.
The Tsuzumimon gate was designed with the image of Nohgaku, Kanazawa's traditional performing art, and Kanazawa's rainy and snowy climate. It has the meaning of welcoming people visiting Kanazawa with a spirit of hospitality.
The architectural design is by Ryuzo Shirae's Shirae Architectural Institute.
