Shinhotaka Ropeway is a ropeway located in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. A two-story gondola connects Shinhotaka Onsen Station, which is 1,117m above sea level, to Nishihotakaguchi Station, which is 2,156m above sea level.
You can enjoy the spectacular scenery surrounded by the Alps at an altitude of over 2,000 meters.

There is a 1st ropeway and a 2nd ropeway where you can transfer. Transfer is a 1 minute walk.

From Nishihotakaguchi Station, you can access trailheads such as Mt. Nishihotakadake and Mt. Okuhotakadake.
