This is a mountain range representing Kengamine (3,026m) located in the southern part of the Hida Mountains (Northern Alps). Located at the southern end of the Northern Alps (Hida Mountains), it is a famous mountain representing the Chubu area, which consists of 23 peaks, 7 lakes, and 8 plains.
Mt. Norikura is a popular climbing spot with numerous climbing courses that can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to experts. It is also known as a treasure trove of alpine plants in the summer, and you can enjoy the spectacular view of autumn leaves in the fall.

The difficulty level of climbing Mt. Norikura varies depending on the course.
The course from Tatamidaira to Kengamine (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes) is relatively easy to walk, making it an easy course for beginners to take on.

You can reach the top of the mountain by car (bus or taxi), making it easy to climb even for beginners.
Norikura Skyline requires a bus or taxi as private cars are prohibited.
