The outer rim of Mt. Aso is a vast caldera that stretches 25km from north to south.

Aso volcano consists of a caldera and a central cone, and Mt. Takadake, Mt. Nakadake, Mt. Nekodake, Mt. Eboshidake, and Mt. The highest point is Takatake at 1,592m.

Mount Aso is Japan's largest caldera, with a diameter of 25km and a depth of 900m. In the caldera, there are grasslands such as Kusasenrigahama, ponds, forests, etc., and rich nature remains.

Mt. Aso has long been an object of worship, and gods are enshrined in each of the five peaks of Aso. In addition, the volcanic activity of Mt. Aso has had a great impact on people's lives since ancient times.
