This waterfall in Bungo-Ono City has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls. The drop is 20m, but the width of the waterfall is 120m.

Harajiri Falls is a waterfall that flows down from a welded tuff cliff formed by the large eruption of Mt. Aso, and is characterized by its sudden appearance in a peaceful countryside. The area around the waterfall is rich in nature, and a walking course has been developed.

Next to the waterfall is the Road Station Harajiri Falls.
