This is a 2,700-year-old Yakusugi tree located on Yakushima, which is also included in the World Heritage Sites.
It is popular as a powerful power spot.
It is located in the forest at an altitude of 1,300 meters at the foot of Mt. Miyanoura in the center of Yakushima, and can be accessed by walking along a 22-kilometer promenade. It takes about 10 hours on foot for a round trip.
