Kabukiza opened in 1889 (Meiji 22) and was rebuilt in 2013.

The Kabukiza is an important presence that supports Kabuki, a traditional Japanese performing art, and is one of the theaters that represent Japanese culture.

Kabukiza is a must-visit spot not only for watching Kabuki, but also for experiencing Japanese traditional arts and culture.
