This is a science museum located in Kofu City. We hold exhibitions and events related to natural science and science and technology.
The exhibits at the Yamanashi Prefectural Science Museum are divided into the following four zones.
Nature Zone: Exhibits related to nature, such as the earth, space, and living things.
Science and Technology Zone: Exhibits related to science and technology, such as the history and principles of science and technology.
Experimental Zone: Exhibits where you can learn science through hands-on experience
Future Zone: Exhibitions on future science and technology
Yamanashi Prefectural Science Museum has the following facilities.
Space Theater: Equipped with a planetarium and digital video theater
Play room: A space where you can learn while playing freely
Experiment workshop: A space where you can experience handicrafts and experiments
Science show: a show of scientific experiments
Workshops: Workshops such as scientific experiments and programming
