This mountain villa in Ozu City, Ehime Prefecture was built by Torajiro Kawachi as a vacation home during the Meiji period. In addition to the building, there is also a landscaped garden. It is a calming and healing space.

The building is designated as an important cultural property.
It is listed as one star in the Michelin Green Guide Japan.

"Ozu Castle'' is nearby, and a combined ticket for "Garyu Sanso and Ozu Castle'' costs 800 yen.

Parking is available free of charge at Ozu Machino Eki Asamoya, where the tourist information center is located.
