The Umekoji Steam Locomotive Museum, which specialized in steam locomotives, closed in 2015 and reopened as the Kyoto Railway Museum in 2016.
In the outdoor exhibition area, you can see actual vehicles such as steam locomotives and bullet trains up close. There are also hands-on corners such as the SL Steam and driving simulators.
