This is a castle from the Toyotomi period located in Yamatokoriyama City, Nara Prefecture.

Only the castle tower remains. It has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 castles.

Koriyama Castle is the largest castle in Yamato Province, and consisted of Honmaru, Ninomaru, Sannomaru, and outer walls. Today, the stone walls of Honmaru and the turret of Ninomaru remain, and it is also known as a famous cherry blossom viewing spot.
