The ferry terminal is located right in front of Uno Station.

Please note that there are two ways to get there: by ferry or by small passenger boat. The terminals are a little far away, so it can be a little confusing if you're not familiar with the area.

Cars, motorcycles, and bicycles are also allowed on the ferry for an additional fee.

Since the small passenger boats are infrequent, we recommend the ferry, which offers a more open feel and runs about once an hour.

The journey takes just 20 minutes, and it's a breeze. Since it's on the Seto Inland Sea, there's no rocking or swaying unless the weather is particularly bad.

By the way, from Naoshima, it's about a 40-minute walk or a 5-minute drive to the museum. The distance is about 3-4 kilometers.

Outdoor art pieces such as "Uno's Black Porgy" by Yodogawa Technique (artist) are scattered around the port, making even a stroll enjoyable. The waterfront park and lawn area offer beautiful sunset views and are perfect for picnics with children. There are also an increasing number of cafes and galleries converted from traditional houses in front of the station, and events are held at the green pier. You can sit on a bench by the harbor and relax, enjoying the sea breeze as you watch the ships depart. The night view is also great.
