The prefectural government building consists of two reinforced concrete buildings, an 8-story building and a 3-story building. The 8-story pagoda is designed to resemble the roofs of traditional Japanese architecture.
In February 2022, the east building of the prefectural government building was designated as a national important cultural property.

There is also an observation room on the 21st floor of the main building, where anyone can enter and enjoy the view.
From a height of 113 meters, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Takamatsu city and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. . There is also a coffee shop in the observation room that is open to the public.

However, the facility is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

There is also an observation deck on the 29th floor of the Takamatsu Symbol Tower as a similar facility.
