Mikane Shrine is a shrine located in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City. The main enshrined deity is Kanayama Biko no Mikoto, the guardian deity of metals, and it is said to bring blessings such as financial luck, good luck, and good luck.
Mikane Shrine is said to have been built at the end of the Heian period. Originally, it was a shrine that was enshrined as a ``house shrine'' on the grounds of a private residence. However, in 1883, the current shrine building was built and the shrine became open to the general public, and many worshipers from all over the country began to visit.

The grounds of Mikane Shrine are decorated in gold, with golden torii gates and golden guardian dogs. Additionally, the precincts are decorated with many ginkgo-shaped votive tablets dedicated by worshipers wishing for increased financial luck.
