A large paddle steamer cruise around Lake Biwa. The attractions are the spectacular views from the lake and the events on board. There are also plans with meals included, making this an extraordinary experience.
Michigan Cruise is a cruise on the Michigan, a large tourist ship that represents Lake Biwa and departs from Otsu Port. The ship features a distinctive red paddle wheel and leisurely cruises around the southern part of Lake Biwa.
On board, a dedicated purser will provide tourist information and live performances to liven up the cruise. From the sky deck on the top floor, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the majestic Lake Biwa, including Mt. Hiei and the Hira mountain range.
There are mainly 60-minute and 90-minute courses to choose from. The onboard restaurant serves light meals and buffet dishes (meal plans may require advance reservations), so you can enjoy the view from the lake while eating.

There is no dedicated parking lot at Otsu Port, but there are several paid parking lots nearby.
