Yumura Onsen town is located in a mountain gorge facing the Sea of Japan and is surrounded by rich nature. The source "Arayu" boasts an abundant amount of hot water of 470 liters per minute, and at a high temperature of 98 degrees Celsius, the scenery filled with steam is truly worthy of being called "Yukemuri no Sato".

There are 24 ryokans and hotels in the Yumura hot spring town, offering various styles of accommodation. In addition, the hot spring town is lined with footbaths, souvenir shops, and restaurants, so you can enjoy a leisurely stroll.

"Arayu" 470 liters of hot water gushes out every minute at the source of Yumura Onsen. There is also a footbath at Fureai no Yu along the river.
