Located in Shiso City, Hyogo Prefecture, Harafudo Falls is the largest waterfall in Hyogo Prefecture, boasting a drop of 88m. It has been selected as one of the "100 Best Waterfalls in Japan" and is also known as the "Waterfall of Love Fulfillment" due to the close proximity of the male and female waterfalls.
Hara Fudo Falls is located in a rich natural environment surrounded by virgin forests of beech and fir trees. The clear waterfall flows down the 88m-high rock face in three tiers, and is overwhelmingly powerful and beautiful. The right side is called "Otoko-taki" (male waterfall) and the left side is called "Medaki" (female waterfall). The water flows separately and eventually joins into one pool, making it a popular power spot for matchmaking and love fulfillment. In particular, during the autumn foliage season, the contrast between the colorful trees and the white waterfall is wonderful, and the area is crowded with many tourists and photographers.

You can access the pool by walking along a well-maintained promenade and crossing a suspension bridge called "Oku-Kaede Bridge." From this suspension bridge, you can enjoy the impressive view of the entire waterfall up close. There is also a "Bell of Happiness" hanging in front of the suspension bridge, and it is said that ringing it will bring you good luck. The falls are surrounded by untouched primeval forest, and their natural appearance enhances the majesty of the falls.

Nearby are the day-trip hot spring Haga Onsen, Hara Fudotaki Campsite, Hara Tourist Apple Orchard (late August to mid-November), and the Michi no Oka cottage. Haga Onsen is a natural radium hot spring.

The nearby Akanishi Valley is also a famous spot for viewing autumn leaves from late October to early November.
