Kochi Castle is a Japanese castle located in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture. In the Edo period, the Tosa clan's domain office was placed in the Ninomaru palace. In addition to being one of the 12 surviving castle towers built in the Edo period, the Honmaru Palace and the Otemon Gate still exist. The castle ruins are designated as a national historic site. It has been selected as one of the 100 best castles in Japan.
It is said that Kochi Castle is the only place where all of the Honmaru structures still exist.

Overcoming many crises such as natural disasters, the storm of ruined castles nationwide due to the Meiji Restoration, and the Pacific War, it has survived to this day as a graceful building called "Nankaido's premier castle."
