Amanohashidate is one of the three scenic spots in Japan along with Matsushima and Miyajima.

Amanohashidate is made up of white sand and about 6,700 pine trees, and its beautiful appearance has been loved by many people since ancient times. The pine trees separating the two seas are also a rare sight, and have been depicted in paintings and written by many poets such as Hiroshi Yosano and Akiko Yosano. It has been popular as a thing.

There is a lift to the Amanohashidate sightseeing boat and the mountain observatory.
